For anyone living in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, I'm currently teaching guitar and bass lessons at School of Rock which is located in downtown Kitchener (78 Francis St. N). They offer a wonderful program whereby young rockers can experience what its like to work towards putting on a real rock 'n' roll show with a band of fellow students. Every few months they run several different series which students are cast into, they get private lessons every week on their instrument, as well as weekly full-band rehearsal time to prepare for the show at the end of the term. This summer we're doing Best of Bowie, the Rolling Stones album Hot Rocks, and great songs from the many bands of Lollapalooza. School of Rock also offers adult programs that operate on the same concept. If all you want is private lessons, this can be accommodated as well. Check out their website for more information!
